Kettles

At The Brewhouse

Overview

Kettles Café Bistro Bar is a new café concept now open at the refurbished Brewhouse, formerly the original Farsons Brewery. As the name suggests, the café interiors are enriched with three authentic old copper kettles and forms part of a bigger casual co-working, cultural and entertainment destination.

The company entrusted with the interior design of the space, Daaa Haus paid respect to the industrial revolution era through rough textures, deep tones and mixed media, but also through the preservation of the original brewing kettles and the iconic rounded facade. The main feature within the space are the curved seating benches made from natural dark woods and fabrics that revolve around these kettles as well as the chairs that, in their form and shape, compliment one another with special focus on the use of dark woods and hand woven cane back rest.

The tiles chosen by Daaa Haus in collaboration with Banju Boutique for the area underneath the yellow staircase are the Concrete Jungle Factory series by Cotto D’Este. This is a line of ceramic flooring in characteristic hues of urban concrete with a contemporary style and innovative design.

The patterned floor tiles are the Esagono Fiore Bianco Mosaic by Ston Italia. They are reminiscent of the work of craftsmen of times gone by, together with the refined simplicity of natural materials and they are truly the highlight of any area they are in.
